choosing between a pixel 7pro and 8pro questions

I'm just curious in regard to installing the GOS will it affect the camera software? in other words if i spend more to get a better camera (8a has more features) but then installing GOS affects that, then am I better off just getting a regular pixel without the better camera?

You can use the pixel camera app on GOS and even add on some of the ai features, I havent done the latter.

Johnnyloans okay because one of the old 2023 posts said that putting GOS on will stop one from being able to use the camera software that comes with google pixels and therefore would affect the camera negatively. So maybe they updated things since then?

generally its recommended to go with pixel 8 series or higher as they have support for MTE

inffy I see that but I was just considering whether it made sense to get a pixel pro mainly because it has better camera features versus the pixel 8. If the GOS makes the extra features on the pro invalid then I will just purchase the pixel 8. Which generation do you have?

The camera will shoot the same pictures if you use the same app. If you prefer the output of the Pixel (Google) Camera app, you can install it just fine on GrapheneOS.
