USB Preferences greyed out

Hallo everybody, I cannot transfer files to or from my Pixel 8 because USB Preferences in Settings are greyed ot.
USB port is on.It has changed last week(s) , before it was possible to turn data transfer on and off and I used it few times. Can you help?

Socrates Lots of settings can be adjusted only in the owner profile. Is the attempt to adjust this setting being done from the owner profile?

Is your device connected to a computer while you're trying to change the settings?

If the device isn't connected via USB, USB preferences are greyed out. Once you connect a cable, you should be able to change these settings.
