Hey everyone, I was hoping someone might be able to advise me on this topic, as I have developed a problem only since switching to GOS.
I have a Home Assistant instance running on an old PC at home, which I can access remotely via Nabu Casa and locally via the local url when on my home network, I have done this successfully using android, ios and linux (debian) devices in the past. Each of the devices I access it from use a Mullvad VPN connection to access the internet (with the local network access setting enabled) and have still been able to access the local instance.
Fast forward to now, I switched to GOS two weeks ago and have largely had no difficulties. I set up the same Mullvad connection with the same app settings as on my previous android device and I can successfully connect to the remote instance, but the local one (both via the app and via vanadium) throws an error. Disabling the VPN entirely (no settings seem to change the issue) fixes the error and allows me to connect.
Knowing all this, my question is: Is there any way to troubleshoot this local connection to work through or around the tunnel? I must assume it has something to do with GOS' VPN tunnel hardening, but I can't work out whether it is some kind of bug or intended use case. Thank you for reading and I hope you can point me in the right direction!
