Can't get Spotify running

Hi, I have Spotify installed via Aurora. The Play Store services are also installed but without access to the internet nor I am logged into my Google account. If I enter my credentials in Spotify I get an error message : something went wrong. Do you have similar problems?

Google play services are not needed to run Spotify at all. You can run Spotify on de-googled phone.

Make sure that Spotify has network access and that you are connected to internet.

androidin check to see if VPN is the issue. I've seen spotify get blocked by ProtonVPN occasionally.

androidin it might be because you are using adblock, a dns adblocker, or have edited your host file in the past.. try to unblock or whitelist spotify api on your adblock host file or consider to find ways to undo modifying hosts file if you are using root. or edited the phone's host file in the first place.. also, if you using the desktop version of spotify, you will encounter this problem too, if you are doing it incorrectly by modifying the host file in PC..
