Can I use Google Pay for in-app payments?

As everyone knows, you can't use Google Pay's NFC contactless payments on GrapheneOS.

In some apps, you can use credit cards registered with Google Pay for in-app payments. This is different from Google Play's in-app billing. For example, you can use a credit card registered in Google Pay to top up your Revolut balance (if you've already added the card to Google Pay, you don't have to enter the card number into the Revolut app).
Is it possible to use this feature on GrapheneOS?
I tried, but first it asked for the credit card's CVC, and then I got an error saying there was a problem verifying the card.

handsome3068 you can't add cards via the Google Wallet app

but I have success adding new cards in the middle of the checkout flow making purchases using Google Pay via mobile browser

I think it's a different service called Google Pay. You can add your card on https://payments.google.com

Cpctc I have my cards registered to my Google account through the Google website. In this case, when I try to top up via Google Pay in the Revolut app, the cards I've already registered show up in the list, but I'm asked for authentication. Specifically, it asks for the CVC. It seems like I can't get past the authentication on GrapheneOS.

handsome3068 this has only worked via the mobile browser for me, sorry - not app to app. i suspect the revolut app might be using the Google Wallet app flow on the phone?
