True for a lot of stuff, but OSM editors like me can log in via CoMaps or OSMand+ and add quick updates, especially with local business changes. For trusted editors the update is often added with only a few minutes delay. Ever try to get Google to update a clearly erronious Maps feature? Sometimes it is hellish!
