Hello,
I tried adding an esim via settings (instead of using the provider's app which doesn't work because play integrity fails).
When I went to "Settings -> Network and Internet -> SIMs -> Add SIM -> Set up an eSIM" it wanted to read a QR code and I rejected the permission. I wanted to input the SM-DP+ address manually because I don't have the QR code on another device to scan, only in the browser on the phone. Looking at the provider's instructions it seems I have to try scanning and then I can also input it manually - too late for that :)
After rejecting the permission the process failed and now if I try to add it again it shows a screen for a split second (Checking network... is all I can read) and then it shows a "SIMs not activated. Something went wrong while trying to activate blah blah" screen.
I want to give the QR scanning permission (or whatever is needed) to the settings app, but I can't find where it is or if Settings is even the correct app I'm looking at. Maybe it must be set on something else like sandboxed google or something, but I don't have the slightest idea on where to go further. I checked all of the above and they all seem to have network and camera permissions. I'm probably missing something.
I would be very happy to receive some pointers on what to check.
