Using ADB - to detect malware

Looking to try and detect malware and potential WhatsApp compromise using ADB. Anyone had experience of this?

Also, is there a loophole for hackers using a personal account of a number already registered as a business account on Whatsapp?

Enabling ADB is a serious security risk. Its best to keep it off.

If you're lucky, maybe! A genuinely extra running process is a fair indication of compromise ("genuinely unknown" is not the same as "Hmm, I wonder what that is?"). But there are many other ways to comprise an app or a system.

What info would ADB show up with commands from terminal regarding packages compared to logs available on user profile on graphene. Also, do logs only show app level usage from the owner profile?

I don't think it'd help with OP's use case.

I think adb shows more logs than what's shown on the phone. Looking at it myself, there are messages missing that I've seen from adb.

Settings > system > view logs and adb show more than just app logs.

ADB can show packages of spyware on different profiles. I'm not sure if the logs from main profile could do that?
