Hello. I have a Pixel 6a a buddy gave me that I'm using to test GOS in hope that I get everything working well so I can switch over my Pixel 7a to GOS as that phone is my regularly used phone. I'm pretty much there in setting up the 6a mirrored to what I have working on the 7a, and I'm down to only one app not working yet.
I have an app called "EverWash" for use with a car wash subscription service. I show up at a location I've established a monthly subscription with, push a button to select the wash I've subscribed to, and then use the app. On the app I select "Start Wash" and then it goes to the QR code capture from within the app and I'm supposed to capture the QR code on the selection board that I selected my wash choice. I can see it switches to the QR capture screen, and I see the white square of the QR camera lining up the QR code I'm supposed to capture off the selection board at the location I'm at, but nothing happens. When using this app on the stock Android OS when I select "Start Wash" it automatically goes to the QR camera capture from within the app and instantly "clicks" and takes a picture of the QR cod on the main selection board at the location I'm at and I can proceed into the car wash.
I'm not sure why it won't work on GOS because I've given the camera ALL of the "permissions" and it shows "no permissions denied". I've checked the actual 'camera' app and I have all permissions granted there, too.
Any suggestions on how I might be able to get this to work? Thank you in advance for your help. :-)
P.S. - I do NOT know alot about smart phones and do NOT use them like most people nowadays do. For me, it's mostly just a phone, a camera, a few texts, and only a couple of apps that I actually use, this car wash subscription service being one of them. This means you'll really have to "dumb it down" for me to understand. ;-)
P.P.S. - I have all the current updates for the GOS and apps.
