Any luck with calls on WearOS?

I have a Pixel Watch 4, and recently flashed my Pixel 9a to GrapheneOS. Most stuff seems to be working with the watch, but I have noticed some issues with phone calls on the watch.

A phone call started on the phone in the Google Dialer app cannot be transferred to the watch. The button on the watch simply doesn't respond when you ask to transfer audio to watch.
Phone calls answered on the watch instead play their audio through the phone.

Phone calls initiated on the watch do indeed play audio on the watch, and can be transferred to the phone, but not the other way around.

Anyone have any tips for this?

I don't use a watch. Maybe this bump will get a real expert in here. This may not be possible in GOS but here's my $0.02

Does your dialer app have an option to send the call to a BT device? To transfer it this way. I realize this isn't a fix but at least it narrows down possibilities.

Bluetooth settings > your watch > Enable phone calls, contacts, other permissions

Download the pixel watch app

Search inside of Gadget bridge or the pixel watch app for settings related to your issues. Give these apps and possibly google play services more permissions like nearby devices, maybe location, call logs, SMS, contacts, microphone, sensors, physical activity, health & fitness.

Set the aforementioned apps to unrestricted battery

Try another dialer app

Settings > apps > special app access > change media output Probably won't help but see if something for your watch is in here to allow.

Don't change developer settings. Turn off developer settings.

The watch does not appear as a traditional bluetooth audio source, so you cannot do that in the Google dialer app. In the AOSP dialer app, you can try to select the device as an output, but it doesn't actually change the destination.

The watch already has all permissions in Bluetooth settings.

The pixel watch app has all permissions granted, and is allowed to change media output, and is unrestricted battery.

I tried default dialer app and it also doesn't work.
