You need to provide more information for us to be able to help you. What device is this happening on? Is GrapheneOS installed and updated? Do you have Google Play Store installed (along with Google Framework and Google Play Services)? How did you acquire WhatsApp (Aurora Store, Play Store, APK downloaded from somewhere else)?

I see now in your other post that you got it from Aurora Store. However we still need more information to help diagnose your issue.

Did you know that WhatsApp runs great even without Google Play? Everybody I know uses it and they are so not bothered to change it for something like Signal or Session that I am forced to have it installed to be able to keep in touch with my family. Sucks, right?
