Pixel 7 reboots every morning when charged above 80%. Auto reboot is off.

Hello, I'm new here and this is my first post. The past few days when my Pixel 7 has charged during the morning it reboots after it hits about 80% or above. I have to physically unplug the charging cable or it gets stuck in a boot loop. Not sure what's causing it and any help would be appreciated. No auto reboot enabled, no charging optimization on, and I'm not using the battery manager. Thank you

Right away, I'd backup your contacts, messages, photos, vanadium bookmarks, other messenger messages, etc

There's a new update going to "stable" in a few days. It could be worth it to change to alpha updates now or in a day to see if there are reported issues.
settings > system > system updates > change off of stable

Is it an option to have it on the charger before sleeping then take it off at 70% or so?

This could be a hardware failure. Before it happens several more times, I would store 2 copies of my backups, do the GOS update, if it still doesn't work, then flash GOS fresh again.

The phone turning off unexpectedly could be abrupt causing data loss and possibly stop it from booting up if the OS gets corrupted.

I just wanted to update this issue again because I haven't been able to find a solution so far. The past week or so now when my Pixel 7 charges it reboots after it hits about 80% or above. I have to physically unplug the charging cable or it gets stuck in a boot loop. I updated to a beta release to see if that would help with no luck.

Limiting charging to 80% doesn't really help as it sometimes will charge to 83/85% and occasionally will try charging to 100% and will reboot anyway. Even so, my Pixel 7 battery is old and I can't afford a battery replacement right now. Limiting the charging to 80% means I realistically don't get more than a few hours of solid battery life before I need to start thinking about charging again. Thank you for your time.
