In this instance it may not have been the fault of the the Iphone.
But must say, I wouldn't advise anyone that's hardcore on privacy owning one.
I have someone in my circle that has one and I put a VPN on it for him. I did the dns leak check and it failed. Turned out to be the Webrtc, which to disable you have to have a Mac to hook it up to and get into developer option or what ever it is to disable it. It's just been one headache after another for him. But he's sorta stuck because he's blind and IOS Blows Android out of the water for accessabilty, especially with IOS's implementation of Voiceover. And the speech recognition is far better.
