CGG Hello guys, I hope everythings fine. I was looking at netguard process and I have found after a reflash a process called just nobody with uid 9999. In my case in portuguese is called ninguém (which means nobody). Is it normal in graphene? Can anyone check for this process or give me more information about it? Thanks in advace.
userofgos CGG In my case in portuguese is called ninguém (which means nobody). Might just be a bad translation
CGG userofgos Actually is not a bad translation... is the same meaning but in pt-br... the system is in pt-br but its name is nobody. I will provide a screenshot. As TranceSeven also has, i think this should be some graphene user configuration... well maybe they can say that...
TranceSeven Same here. English language... UID 9999, Name 'nobody', AppID 'nobody', Version 16. Not listed among the Settings -> Apps -> All Apps + Show System.
nologo It's normal. Android/AOSP/GOS is based on Linux. "Nobody" is a (pseudo) user in a Linux environment. Here's some background information: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/186568/what-is-nobody-user-and-group
