Apps Missing since 2026032000

Hi together,

since update 2026032000, some of my apps are missing. I thought I'd wait for the next update, but they didn't come back. Procedure:

auto installation of 2026032000
after auto reboot, some apps went missing. This includes apps installed from different sources (Play Store, Aurora, F-Droid). Affected apps were e.g. OrganicMaps, Alipay, two banking apps
at the time of installation, I was in China
now I'm back in the EU

Does anyone have an idea, what the issue could be? Really strange behaviour and I can't figure out why.

/Edit: If I go to the Play Store and search for an missing app, Play Store says the app is installed, but I can't open it - only uninstall it

I have an idea.
Settings > apps > see all apps

Now tap on All apps
Select disabled apps

Are your missing apps listed here? Tap on one then push enable.

GrapheneUser I wonder if clearing Launcher's cache might help?

Johnnyloans Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, for me there's no disabled apps option - is it only avaiable, if there are apps, that are disabled? If I search for an app, thats not avaiable anymore, I can only see the name of the package (com.XXX, as on the attached screenshot).
It btw affects apps in the "main" space as well as in the private space.

You've got developer options enabled. These should be OFF for normal use.

GrapheneUser I think in Android the relationship of the launcher to the rest of the system is more complicated than might be expected.

de0u Ok, but doesn't work with standard system launcher as well. I'd like to avoid clearing the cache of my launcher :-)

Is reinstalling the app an option?

legreteco Probably the only solution, worked for Organic Maps. Tried to avoid it for banking apps as I probably need to reregister them, which is kind of annoying.

If there's someone else having the same problem: reinstalling the apps from Aurora worked, as it was handled as an update. Don't really like the idea of installing banking apps from Aurora, but worked
