A recent issue regarding MySudo just started on my GOS phone (Pixel 8). GOS and MySudo are all up-to-date. I can receive phone call notifications whether the app is open / minimized in the background, or closed. However, I can only receive message notifications, if MySudo is open / minimized in the background. I cannot receive message notifications if the MySudo app is closed.
The app was working fine a few weeks ago. Not exactly sure when it stopped working as I don't get a ton of messages from them.
I followed @MetropleX 's advice from 2022 regarding deleting MySudo and Google Play Store and Google Play Services and then reinstalled them. Both GPServices and MySudo have unrestricted battery. However, this doesn't seem to be fixing this issue.
I can try to keep the MySudo app open, but would appreciate a more permanent solution. Thanks in advance!
