Change Boring Black and White Icons?

I'm wondering if there will be an effort to change the default stock icons for the phone, camera, gallary, settings, etc... from black and white to something less boring and more appealing to the eye? I image this can't take very long, as they are just png image files.

Do the developers have any plans to change these icons? Thanks.

rkeenan No plans to use different icons for the apps that come with the OS at this time.

If you use a different launcher, you can use an icon pack with it, or you can use themed icons to change the color of icons for apps that support monochrome icons (all apps that come with GrapheneOS do).

I will replay in the name of developers. The inons were changed to this color and I dont think so they will be rechanged. There are pleanty of choices to make yourself different icons.

What icon pack can I use with the regular graphene OS launcher? Is there something I can download from f-droid? I don't want to change launchers, I just want to change the icons. Thanks.

rkeenan I don't believe the AOSP launcher supports other icon packs, though I may be wrong about that.

The best you can do is probably to use themed icons which you can enable in "Wallpaper & Style" after long-pressing on your home screen.

rkeenan I'm using X Icon Changer along with Sunrise Icon Pack or OxyPie Icon Pack. Does the job. Be forewarned - lots of ads, but only while using the app. Hope that helps.
