Working/reliable USB-C audio adapter?

Back when I had a pixel 6A, I had a lot of trouble finding a good USB-C audio adapter. Nothing I tried worked until I popped for this Anker: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Z3B5QL3

That is no longer available (maybe related to the fact that it would usually only last me about a year; my amazon history shows I've ordered 3 times, in addition to a replacement they sent me).

Does anyone have a reliable adapter they like? To be clear, I'm on a 9a now, but I mention 6a because that's when I did my testing. I'm open to hearing if those cheaper adapters do in fact work with 9a.

boards_of_canada33 Ah funny enough this is the exact one I have as well! When I got it I started to notice that parts of the woven material on the cable was starting to come off like little hairs, so far though I have had it for over a year and no other issues that I've noticed and I use it with basically everything, I used it with a 6a and since the battery recall I switched to a 9a as well and still using it, very interesting to see it's now discontinued.

I regularly use a usb c dac with my phone(P8P), the qudelix 5k, and it works great!

hah that Anker one is exactly the one I have, and it works great! Bummed it's discontinued.

Found the Tea Pro better in terms of quality and battery mangement.

Main challenge is software,as it works only with Gogole Services installed and activated,as the Audio Player needs purchase and activation.

Can confirm US-version of Apple adapter works with no issues. Volume problem was fixed a while back in AOSP
