About Location services
I did create one user profile with Play Store and one without.
From https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/21671-owner-profile-location-switch-affects-2nd-profile I learned that at least Location service needs to be enabled in the Owner profile.
That is not apparent in the OS, as I can enable or disable the toggle in each of the user profiles!
There is no hint that something may not work or - what would be better - that this setting is greyed out when not enabled in the Owner profile.
My main question is, whether the same is true for other settings, features and capabilities.
What else needs to be enabled in the Owner profile for other profiles to work as expected?
The other question is, what other permissions and toggles need to be enabled in either profile for location services to work as expected? As it seems, indoors GPS does not work at all?
So to get your location in Google Maps, HERE WeGo or OsmAnd, I also need to enabled WiFi scanning? Where exactly? I saw that there are several places or Apps to enable this, including Google Play Service which I only have installed in one of my profiles - but if possible, I would of course run most Apps in the profile without Google.
Right now, OsmAnd only ever shows "Position not yet know ..." in both profles and I cannot find the right things to enable, even after I enabled Location Services in the Owner profile.
Anyone can give a primer how to setup everything, cross-profile?
Yes, I did try to find this in the usage information, but this did not really help.
