Cannot verify Google account in private space

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with installing Play Store in my owner profile's private space. Previously, I used a separate user profile for apps requiring Play Services. I'm now attempting to move Play Store to my owner profile's private space for convenience. But couldnt make it work. Here's what I tried :

– New Account Verification:
Create a dummy Google account and try phone verification using an SMS rental service like smspool. It used to work well, but it appears Google now requires SIM card verification, which isn't possible in private space. So I can't log in that way.

– Existing Account Verification:
Then I tried using an existing dummy Google account from my secondary profile that is currently logged in and works perfectly. However, upon login Google requests device verification and instructs me to confirm via a notification. Problem : the notification never appears, preventing me from logging in.

So I'm stuck, I can't log in a Google account in my private space. Has anyone successfully set up Play Store in a private space? Am I missing something ?

I was able to do this just a week ago, so it's definitely possible. Although I wasn't running into SIM card verification, so I don't know about that part.

I bought 2 "aged" google accounts through fiverr for $5, and changed the password and 2FA code, and it seems like google trusts the accounts enough to not run into verification issues. If it's truly a burner account that's already flagged as suspicious, maybe you need to start over with another burner?

calpurtmun The Google verification steps are so obscur. I tried several times to create new Google accounts, changing countries with a VPN and using different email aliases through SimpleLogin, but each time I hit a verification step I couldn’t complete. Ironically, I received a warning from SimpleLogin asking me to stop creating Google accounts or risk being banned... Maybe VPN + aliases is a little too much and Google won't let that happen anymore. It used to work but all good things come to an end I guess.

Bot registration came to a different level with the help of AI.
So, don't blame them, blame people who are spoiling the old status quo

graphoux I'm still wondering when Google will stop allowing simplelogin and similar for use with their services. I hope there is no shady reason they're still allowed
