This error says Android Auto demands the location permission then buggered off for a cuppa.

In any profile you want, give android auto the location permission.
Settings > apps > sandboxed google play > android auto > android auto app info
Go back a submenu or 2 to also "Allow wireless android auto":
Settings > apps > sandboxed google play > android auto
I know you're not in private space, but there is:
Settings > location > allow private space location usage
To use speech to text or text to speech in your car, install this from the google play store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.tts
Then you'll have to set this:
Settings > system > langauge > Speech Select the google voice/text app you just installed.
GOS is making their own but some google apps refuse to use anything other than the google TTS/STT app.
