If you're setting up your device in an inefficient way after reinstalling it's not going to help. Using multiple push implementations is inefficient, especially inefficient ones like Signal WebSocket push instead of FCM or UnifiedPush.
That's due to your apps and network. It's only going to get better if you narrow down which of your apps and network connections are causing more power drain so you can address it. It's an issue tied to specific apps and other setup you have. It's not something we can address.
There are frequent updates to GrapheneOS so there will have always been a recent update when you notice something wrong. That doesn't mean it's in any way tied to a recent update. We know what was changed in recent updates and have a lot of users providing feedback about them.
For any update, there are often people saying it reduced or improved their battery life. Both groups are almost always wrong. Your battery life is changing due to changes in your apps, network and usage of the device. You likely have an inefficient setup and noticed it recently.
