Weird thing on restart after last OS update

Thought I was going to have a bad day 😐.

Upon restart, I got the normal "Your device is loading a different operating system", then it continued to boot (Google logo) BUT then it restarted (back to the "Your device is loading a different operating system"). It then continued to start up normally.

No issues after that.

backup contacts, texts, photos, a list of the apps you have, screenshots of how you have your apps laid out, anything else important in case it comes back worse.

Speeduser7533 does it happen again if you reboot? Also curious as to what build number you are on currently
Settings > About Phone > Bottom of page > Build Number

Just wondering if this is a sign of unsuccessful update and device restarted 2nd time to switch to the previous good slot.
A wild guess, I have never experienced that.

Johnnyloans A very good suggestion indeed. @Speeduser7533 , I'd do backups now, just in case. :) They aren't a bad thing to have around anyways.

Now that you mention it, this happened with my phone as well. If I remember correctly, this was also the case with the update before the latest one.
