Should I update Android Auto?

I just got a notification from Android Auto saying "Update Android Auto. This will soon be required to use Android Auto. "

When I tap on it, Play is opened prompting to update. Should I let Play update Auto, or should I wait for an update to appear in the GrapheneOS app store?

Yes. Dismiss the notification if possible, but I'm not sure it is.

Here's an item on the issues tracker proposing that the Android Auto notification messages be un-greyed-out so that we can choose to avoid seeing them:

So far no activity on it, but I'm not one to bother the team about an annoyance.
