Privacy from ISP

I use data only SIM card that is linked to my name (not good, I know). But I still want to have privacy from my ISP. So what are my options? I want to know all of them. I want to know pros and cons of each one too. I know that using a VPN is one of the options and I don't know any other options.

You have https on most sites so ISP will know what sites you are on but not the specific pages or content. Even if you use your own DNS server they can still do a reverse DNS lookup to get the website from the IP address. To my knowledge the only way to prevent them from getting this is to use a VPN or Tor.
