Hello! Sounds like you're able to adjust the AP/router. Try turning off a few to all of these, then connect. If successful, narrow down the issue by reverting some changes.
Most of these are only for mesh networks. (Many, collaborative wifi stations)
First do any updates on your wifi router!
- turn-off/disable
802.11r - fast bss transition or FT roamign
802.11w - protected management frames or PMF/MFP
802.11k - radio resource management or RRM
802.11v - BSS transition management
Switch to WPA2 ONLY
The fix is likely 1 or a few things above. You could also try:
Disable wifi 7 and/or 6 (force wifi 5, 4)
You can try on your phone:
settings > system > reset > reset wifi and bluetooth
This'll also make it forget your saved wifi passwords and bluetooth devices.
Let me know how it goes.
It could be your phone is compatible with whatever you changed but your router has a broken implementation of it.
Could be a hardware issue since your phone should be new enough to be compatible with somewhat not recent wifi technologies.
