Anonymous Aurora access broken again?

I just wanted to install some app from Aurora, using the anonymous option for login. I get the standard store display, but clicking an (any) app I only get the title and below a spinning circle. There's a 'Install' button, but pressing it will tell me the app is not available for my system.
This worked fine a week ago, and I have several apps installed from there. Is this on Aurora side, or something on my device (Pixel 8)?
(I'm new to both Android and GrapheneOS... but searching the web I found that this had happened in 2023 also)

Hmm, after some more 'research' I tried un- and re-installing, and now it works (again). Is that a 'typical' way to (try to) solve issues?

It's not the first time I am reading something similar in this forum, but I wouldn't say this should be regular practice to fix Aurora.
Did you also try to reach also aurora / their community about this issue?
Maybe they have already a workaround in place that doesn't involve uninstalling the store.

Did you try logout and login again, or logout, stop the app, clean cache and login back? Sometimes this 'anonymous' account misbehaves and relogin logs you into another, more stable account

I had this issue with a few apps... I tried again a couple of weeks later in the very early morning and got the apps easily. I recall reading that they (google) interfere with aurora access and make life difficult for aurora users to sway us towards making accounts and using the Play store.

There are tradeoffs to using aurora, and getting things on your preffered schedule is sometimes one of those tradeoffs.

@theyycmonk Yes, I'm aware of the 'issues' with Auroras way. But it seems quite common to use it, nevertheless?

before there was an issue for a short time but they made the app more resilient, haven't a problem for like 2 years, used it today again to install app, make sure your aurora app is not outdated.
