How can I prevent the screen from waking up when charging?

My last phone was an Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite with Android 12 (LineageOS 19) and there was something in the settings. I couldn't find anything in the Android 16 settings. Is this still possible? It's annoying.

Do you know what causes the screen to turn on?

For example, Are you referencing any of these situations ?:

You plug in the charger, screen on
New notification
Something touches the screen
Phone is moved or picked up
Alarm or timer goes off

Never solved that Problem. It looks like this is a "Feature" from the AOSP that can't be disabled.

The only I do is to plug in the cable to charge the smartphone. The display turns on. I've disabled that 'Lift to wake' setting.

The screen will turn on for 1-3 seconds or so when a charging cable is plugged in.

I don't believe there is a way to disable this.

If there is an issue of the screen being bright in a dark environment, point the phone away from your face, turn the brightness down, and/Or look away.
