I have identical issues with two identical Pixel 9 Pros, both running latest GrapheneOS 2026030701 and Pixel Camera version 10.2.095.854411128.10.
I know this isn't Google issue tracker but since both phones have this issue and i can reproduce it with Open Camera, i'll ask here if anyone can replicate the problem, in case it's somehow OS related? Dual simultaneous hardware failure seems unlikely in this case, i hope.
Official Graphene camera app does not exhibit this because it doesn't support 60fps recording. The 3rd party apps above also seem to work at 30fps.
So the problem seems to only occur at 60fps:
- Record a video at 4K 60fps.
- Switch to 0.5 wide angle lens.
- Move the phone closer to an object, works well above a trash can for example, with an obvious height/depth difference.
- The autofocus goes crazy, focusing back and forth between the center of the trashcan and the edges, and back, never gaining focus.
- Switch back to main 1x lens, the autofocusing stops but there is a repeated clicking sound.
It doesn't happen 100% every time, but most of the time.
Ideas?
