Impossible to restore seedvault backup for apps inatalled via Zapstore?

When I install an app via zapatore on my grapheneos it won't properly backup the configs and data in my seedvault?

When updating apps, the zapatore UX is cluncky, I ended up chosing option delete and reinstall for fairemail and organicmaps and now lost a bunch of data on configuration and interactions... Extremely frustrating.

I went through config > system > backup and tried restoring backups from files for these two applications, but apparently its listed there but empty...

Zapstore checks for signatures. In case signatures don't match, the only way to proceed with an update is to uninstall and reinstall. This is an unhappy path.
