Elgoog Come 2028, I will want a new tablet. If Motorola offers a GOS-compatible one (hopefully) and Google doesn't (seems likely), I'll buy the Motorola.
I will want a new tablet too, I did consider buying Pixel Tablet, but it will be end of life so quickly, so I am hoping for a new tablet option too, or good desktop mode implementation that doesn't drain battery too much.
Unkn0wn-3nt1ty Decent battery life (I cant even make it last a whole day consistently)
I thought in 2026+ by now, we would have a category of simple phones that are secure and can run on battery for days, even with mobile network active. I don't wanna buy a rugged phone as they often have lower and less secure Android versions and bad security updates schedules.
People who want to be private and secure do not really always care that much for a good camera or gaming capability. So they could be a little cheaper on that side.
EU made this easy battery replacement law, so Pixel 12 will be forced to have it? GOS Motorola should fall under it too?
A durable, reliable rugged-like phone, that has GrapheneOS standard would be my dream. I do like the niche feature of some of them having thermal or nightvision, though they are kinda low-medium resolution and still expensive. Maybe the price will drop in next years if the defense drone industry has had enough of them.
