Other degoogled OS' - wanting expandable storage & prioritising security.

Hi all -

I've been using a Pixel 7a as my daily driver phone but I'm considering getting a secondary device and using my Pixel running Graphene for more specific usages.

I still want to prioritise security and degoogling, but I'm also really keen to keep a music library on a microSD card to divest from streaming services - but - this seems very tricky to wrangle with security concerns. I'm guessing as well - duress pins are a unique feature to GrapheneOS?

I've looked at Lineage and e/os and they all have devices which are compatible with external storage. It's really frustrating there's no pixel support for expandable storage :(

But anyways, not looking to ditch Graphene fully, maybe just switching to having a regular daily driver with a music library on.

jimmii The purpose of GrapheneOS is not the degoogling but significantly improve security and privacy in a broad sense.

In the App Store, you can install Play services in sandbox and they will run like regular apps without any special privileges.

I use Auxio on Accrescent for music, it's local and works perfectly.

Keep in mind that /e/OS is a disastrous fork of LineageOS and a scam owned by a untrusted for profit company called Murena.
