Accrescent apps not installing

Hi, I can't seem to get accrescent apps installed for some reason. It keeps stalling at the installation page? Works for some apps but not others. Can't for Molly and the stock VPN. Any way to resolve this?

When you push install, what happens? does it say pending then downloading : 1% then download 5% (and further up). Does it freeze at a point?

Check to see if your phone can access these domains:
appstore-api.accrescent.app
repo.accrescent.app

Try a different wifi, vpn off, dns filter or ad blocker off, or on cell data.

i've installed molly from accrecent without issue, as well as a few other apps

Why GOS has two appstore (App Store and in that you can install Accrescent that has also a few apps to install) ?

starbright Because working on operating system is enough work for them.
Accrescent needs bigger adoption, which means you need to convince many open source devs, to actually bring their apps on it. And they often do not like the idea of it, because it sounds like more work to maintain it.

App store = GOS apps + accrescent

GOS devs like accrescent so they advertise it. They probably don't want their app store more cluttered with a long list of apps and to keep the mission of it to be for GOS apps primarily.

Small correction. They recommend Accrescent and provide it in their App Store as the most secure way to install it.

userofgos is it safer and more secure than Google play store though. That seems to be how they market it.

It usually gets past the download stage.. Then lags when it reaches installation. Some work after restarting and trying several times. Some don't. Smaller apps like notes are ok. Faced some issues with ivpn.

On a separate note, easy notes is glitchy. I'm not sure if its an accrescent app issue or GOS issue. Eg cant bold or underline text. When I delete text, it joins up with the previous word.
