berber What? We're discussing Vanadium's password manager, not my system password manager.
When you set a system-wide password manager, the vanadium password manager is disabled. This is good so passwords are organized in 1 place rather than 2.
I have "figured out" my system password app. It's irrelevant.
My previous message wasn't intended to be negative. I meant your password manager will have its own configuration and behaviors. I don't know the menus and settings of all password managers.
Do these steps to make sure the password manager is fully operational:
GOS settings > passwords, passkeys > preferred service > [your password app]
GOS Settings > accessibility > [your password app] > enable
Vanadium won't use its own password manager due to the system password manager being set; but, it also won't use your password manager yet. To remedy this:
Vanadium > 3 dots top right > settings > autofill services > autofill using another service
Now it'll work.
If you have an issue with a specific site, you'll have to check if you set your password manager to never ask to save passwords for that site.
