Contacts: How to remove all to resync

I have a radicale server with all my contacts and have recently updated the core data with better structure etc.

Now i want to sync these changes, including their images, but sort of can't because of the contacts that already have been synced.

How can I purge the phone of contacts to pull them anew from my server?

I assume you use DAVx⁵ to sync contacts. If that's the case, what about deleting the phone-contact account related to it. Check Settings > Password, passkeys & accounts, look for DAVx5 Addres book type.

I suggest a contacts backup before start playing. Fossify Contacts can help you with the export.
