8a: OEM Unlocking Greyed out - No Beta Enrollment (I think)

I've been searching on the forums and haven't found a situation like mine. I bought a carrier unlocked 8a second hand but when going through the install process, I've gotten stuck at the OEM unlocking toggle. Its greyed out but looking at the Build number, it does not appear to be in the beta program. I'm not sure what to do, does anyone have advice?

Dav17 What carrier was it? Just because it's carrier unlocked doesn't mean it's OEM unlocked. Some (namely Verizon) won't ever OEM unlock the phone.

NoahRaketic The seller said they bought it straight from Google. I can put any new sim card, that option is open in the network settings.

Edit: They also said they used the Google fi network

Alright update, I connected it to my wifi and then restarted. A notification popped up that said the phone IS enrolled in the beta program (did not come up before that I remember). So i will work on getting it unenrolled now.

wizoatk Yeah it was what I checked first, the build number was not on the beta test build numbers list which is why I was confused. But the seller is chill, were going to sort it out soon.

I've not done it personally, but it looks to be very straight forward for the seller to do.

How do I leave the beta program?

If you want to use the production version of Google system services, you'll have to leave the beta program and then wait for the release of the next production version of each Google system service, which will be installed on your devices.
