DeletedUser1146 The following was taken from my notes. While it worked for me on 3 Pro 9's. A fourth would only let me choose Polish as the language. Luckily, I was able to send it back. So there is no guarantee whatsoever that it will work for you.
The process was based, in large part, on the excellent work here: https://spwoodcock.dev/blog/2026-08-05-graphene-pixel-esim-fix/
Studying that first is highly recommended.
If anyone notices a problem with my process, please let me know.
To fix the eSIM error, you need to apply a firmware upgrade. Unfortunately, it seems the only way to do that is with LineageOS installed. So if you start with a stock phone, you can begin with LineageOS. If you have already flashed GrapheneOS, you will first need to flash back to the stock OS: https://flash.android.com/
Once in the stock OS:
Unlock the bootloader if it is not already unlocked:
adb -d reboot bootloader
fastboot flashing unlock
Select your phone here: https://download.lineageos.org/devices/caiman/builds (caiman is for a 9 Pro)
Follow the "Guides & Info" for installation instructions for your phone.
When finished, boot LineageOS, connect to a Wi-Fi, and activate "Developer mode" (System>About phone: tap build 5 times)
System>Developer options: Toggle USB debugging ON & Rooted debugging ON
Next download and install the firmware updater apk:
https://spwoodcock.dev/downloads/EuiccSupportPixel-P23.apk
echo '14b99f90faed25c23284a6008fabea4e6a2bdc583b8709a04b47859d007ad9a7 EuiccSupportPixel-P23.apk' | sha256sum -c
Now for the firmware update:
adb install -r EuiccSupportPixel-P23.apk
adb root
adb shell
setenforce 0
getenforce
am start -S com.google.euiccpixel/.ui.OtaUpdateMenu
The actual firmware update will then be done on the phone:
Pixel 9 family P24 (ST54L)
Pixel 10 family P25 (ST54L)
Pixel 11 family P26 (ST54L)
For a Pixel 9 family, select:
ST54L
GGL_P24_ST54L_GSMALIVE_534-1.1_DVT_CG7_v2
For Pixel 10 choose a similar P25 version, for Pixel 11 choose a similar P26 version, then
Update firmware? YES (it can take a while.)
With the updated firmware, you can flash GrapheneOS: https://grapheneos.org/releases
After booting, System>Network & Internet> toggle eSIM support ON, and reboot
Dial: ## 4636 ##
Select "Phone information" and look for:
eUICC info: { Available memory in bytes: 1310012 }
If it's -1, something went wrong, otherwise SUCCESS!
Good Luck!
