I was holding back long enough but I seriusly need to know if I'm the only one here.
Am I the only one thinking this is the worst Pixel ever?
I hoped that the QPR3 kernel patches would make it better, but honestly, it made it just worse.
The device seems too sluggish to even do basic things like typing. It doesn't react fast enough while typing and it creates typos all the damn time. The haptic feedback while typing also feels extremely delayed and inaccurate.
This seems to change depending on the battery level: At around 50% it feels amazing, but 70-100% feels absolutelly terrible. Low batterylevels feel very good again, I don't get it.
Yes, I could turn off typing haptics. That way I can type nicely, but why would I want to do that with a 1000$ device?
The 5G and 4G are just terrible as well. I understand that this COULD be a provider issue, but it probably isn't, as my other devices sharing that same plan have no such issues.
It just seems to sometimes hickup, and disconnect me completelly without showing that in the signal symbol:
I was literally at the gym yesterday, without music, because my pixel refused to load tidal or roon. Sometimes it just doesn't load anything that has to do with the internet for a few minutes, before finally recovering and acting normal again. It's like the modem just shuts down for some minutes.
When rebooting, the connectivity returns to normal again as well. So it's certainly not a provider issue.
I'm a pixel GOS user since the 6 Pro. I never had any of these issues before, and I'm seriously thinking about going back to my 9 Pro Fold. It has none of these issues and I enjoy it a lot more. Even my Pixel 8 Pro felt WORLDS better than this. And it's not my setup, as these phones ran the same apps and setup anyway.
Does anyone here have similar experiences? Especially the typing issue. That one just fucks me completelly.
It's probably not a GOS related issue, the device felt like this before even flashing.
I can't be the only one can I?
