With Google doubling down on potentially locking-down and removing the ability to sideload apps with APKs without verifying them through Google, how will this affect GrapheneOS?
Keep Android Open contains most of the information for this, mostly harming developers in the process, but also controlling the consumer and infringing on their privacy.
I have been planning to switch my Google Pixel 7a to Graphene once I can unlock it (when it is paid off from AT&T). I am unsure if their will be a point if Android becomes a locked-down platform.
Will GrapheneOS bypass this potential reality due to its degoogled nature?
If there is anything I am missing please let me know, appreciate the help!
