What is the best way to install and use a banking app on Graphene OS?

Datasapiens I just realized something - if you used Shelter to set up your work profile, there is an option there specifically for the purpose of enabling NFC payments in the work profile. That's why I thought it would work, but I forgot it was a Shelter feature and not a default one :)

I know you have already found a setup that works for you, but this may help other Google searchers :)

You should actually see it this way. Some people like to give their house key to the neighbors out of convenience, but not everyone. By default, I prefer security over convenience. I don't trust big companies, as they have an insatiable appetite for data, while at the same time there is no real legitimate interest in collecting that data. In fact, they can write all kinds of nonsense in a privacy policy or conveniently omit things and deliberately use vague terms.

littlerack Your right I should have specified "vanadium" as browsers is to loose a term given the large gap between a hardened security focused browser such as vanadium and a less privacy conscious browser such as Microsoft edge. What would be fantastic would be the implementation of the eagerly awaited communication scopes allowing closed source apps which demand such high control of your local environment to be truely isolated from the system... Only then would i consider a banking app to be a viable alternative to vanadium on vanilla graphene.. And even then only if I was not forced to accept googles terms and conditions (which any rational person really shouldn't) to do so.
