How to Reinstate Physical Sim?

I started using a Portable WiFi Hotspot/Calyx Institute Sim.
It is working great. So I was ready to get rid of my Spyware Sim... I should have just Physically Removed it...

But I saw a setting along the lines of "Stop Using Sim". I forgot exact words. But I "Toggled" it off.

I was hoping that setting would allow me to keep the old Physical Sim in my phone. But it would not communicate with the cellphone towers... IDK. I had no Idea what it did. But I assumed it would let me "Un Toggle" it if I wanted to go back.

I can not activation the option to Un Toggle it is Greyed Out. I do Not want to use the Old Sim in my phone every day. But I want to use it occasionally for text verification codes until I can completely wean myself off the Old Sim.

How do I make this Old Sim Work in my phone again?

Path to get to setting I am referring to.

Settings/Network and Internet/SIMs/

I see my Old Sim listed but "Toggle" is Greyed Out.
I click "Small Arrow" and goes to "Use This SIM"
That Toggle is also Greyed Out...

My goal is to make SIM work. And take it out 99.9999 percent of time. And only put back into phone to do Text Message Security Codes.
"Until all accounts are using Authenticator App".

Just wanted to give more info.

CharlieMander It used to work before I Toggled it Off. I'm stupid please help. Ha ha

Have you applied any carrier settings overrides? If so, reset them to the default settings and then disable, re-enable and disable again the main toggle. Reboot your Pixel.

You could try the following:

Check that the SIM is correctly inserted and not damaged.
Reset your mobile network, Settings > System > Reset options > Reset mobile network settings.
Try using your SIM in another phone.
Contact your carrier.

Hat I'll give all this a go. Thank You. I'll reply if anything fixes it.

The only thing like a carrier setting I have on the SIM is A password. It used to make me enter a password just for the Sim every time I turned on phone. "I like that". Now on this phone no password prompt.

Added a New Line/New Number. New Sim works.
Ive been wanting a fresh number anyways so maybe this was blessing in disguise. Will transfer 2FA accounts that only allow me to use phone number to new number then delete my Old Line/Old Number.

Not elegant solution but could not figure out anything else.
