I'd really, really like to be able to turn off voicemail notifications. I really couldn't care less if there are voicemails waiting to be heard. I want to be able to completely turn the notifications off. People I want to hear from and care about know how to reach me and don't leave voicemails. The rest can go kick rocks.
I can't be the only one who dislikes not being able to turn these off. I don't want to see a banner. I don't want to see a dot. Nothing. Nadda.
Perhaps a "dismiss until X time or for X days" or some such thing? I often conduct solitary and silent meditation retreats that go for days, weeks or longer and keep my phone on because there are apps I require 24/7/365, but being nagged about voicemails from irrelevant people isn't a feature for me, it's a bug.
