I've spent a number of full days trying to get my old Google Message data to load after otherwise having a successful setup and activation with Graphene. Carrying over these threads was really the only reason to keep using so much Google service. Has anyone else successfully restored a backup of Google Messages? I've covered all of this:
-Backed up Google Messages data to Google One from old phone
-Installed Sandboxed Google Messages, Google One, Google Play Services, & Google Play Store on new Pixel 10 Pro
-Given permissions for Contacts, SMS, Phone, and Network to all of them.
-Quit, reopened, restarted, and reinstalled out the wazoo.
-Have been logged into same Google account everywhere imaginable the whole process.
-Tried to pair with Google Message through the desktop browser, which is normally an option where you use a QR code and select the same emoji. This works with my old phone, but with the Graphene Pixel 10 Pro (in Chrome, Chrome Incognito, & DuckDuckGo) it says, "Something went wrong and this device isn't paired" every time.
New RCS messages are sending and receiving fine, and my old messages are visible on web browser, but can't load in Google Message on Graphene/Pixel 10 Pro. My profiles and data load fine in other Google services like Maps, Gmail, & Drive. I'm fine to part with the Messages data, but wondering if anyone has the antidote.
