Simplenote app CANNOT Sync notes. Help please!

Greetings,

Simplenote on my Pixel 8a CANNOT sync my notes to the cloud (From phone to Cloud).

It can fetch/download notes but not upload new ones I create locally on my phone.

Works on other NON-graphene phones.
Only on my GrapheneOS phone, it can't sync/upload notes.

How can I fix?
Is there something I need to download or enable within Google Play Services perhaps?

Can you log-in and create a new note on your GrapheneOS phone on this website?:
https://app.simplenote.com/login/

Verify that the new note synced on another device.

You may have to sign out on all devices and sign back in to fix syncing issues between them all. (not sure if this'll delete local notes that are not synced yet)
