nandohyphen1 I've heard its bad to let the phone sit at 100% plugged in. Is this true?
I read a great analogy related to this: (Try at your own risk)
charging to 100% = Take a deep breathe in, breathe in some more, try again--put a bit more air into your lungs.
battery 0% = Breathe everything out, try to squeeze out the last bit of air you have, squeeze some more out.
I've seen ipads or laptops that have the battery balloon up into the shape of a pillow likely due to them being never taken off of the charger. It depends on the design, but many devices will keep "topping off" the battery constantly--bad.
I've seen others not distort physically after 8 years of never being unplugged; however, if you try to use the device off of the charger, it'll die in 30 seconds. 100 -> 0
Novalissoide Why is that, is it a fire hazard?
Yeah, I don't charge tools or e-bikes if I'll be out.
The more likely reason: My ex would always forget to plug in her phone at night.
Or People fall asleep while using it
My reason: I try to keep my phone between 25-80%. If it's at 65%, I'll just let it sit over night. Let it get closer to 50%.
i6495 Bad battery or software
or motherboard. 95% of the time this is always the battery.
i6495 Do you think I should contact Graphene team ion this?
No, even if it was a brand new phone, could be a hardware defect.
I agree, return is the best course of action for me.
Goodluck dude :)
