Displays network bars

Hello. My Pixel 9a displays horizontally irregular, striated, and jagged network bars in the top right corner when mobile data is off. When mobile data is on, the bars are normal.
I've reset GOS and changed my SIM card, but the problem persists. What could be causing this? I'm in France. Thank you.

Ardechoix can you upload a picture to an image hosting site or a drive (like Proton or Google Drive) and put the link here? Very importantly, are Developer Options ON or OFF?

the netwok bars you mention, they display a maximum of four bars, getting larger as the signal is stronger.
they are quite thick and heavy when you use one sim card.
If you use two sim cards at the same time these bars are cut by a horozontal line, Each set of bars represents each sim card and each sim card may have differing signal strengths.
If you turn off one sim cards data connection the very last bar the tallest, has superimposed on it an apostrophe to draw your attention to a perseived signal problem. This breaks up the outline of the signal bars.

Thank you ! With screenshot and zoom i see a ! In the middle of network bars. Thats why i thought about stried. This ! appears only without data. When data are on, it desappears. I have not dual sim. And i didnt switch on the developer mode.

Ardechoix Perhaps this may help in finding your answer (in addition to having that exact type of rounded background with an exclamation overlay image in the grid of icons provided by the article's author half way down):

These icon changes align with the status bar icon updates Google rolled out in Android 16. Despite the update on the phone side, Android Auto’s icons continue to carry on the older appearance because these icons are stored as part of the Android Auto app rather than being derived from the phone. That is why you might already see different icons if you use a Samsung phone. However, most other Android devices, including Pixel phones, still use the outdated set.

OK. Thank you. Its helps. Right. These changes are not marvellous. They make concern. For exemple, now there is a + at thé right of thé battery symbole !! Lol.
