How do i tell if my phone is fast charging or not?

So i have a pixel 10 pro xl with graphenos on it and i bought a fast charger from amazon and i don't know where it's suppose to show it's fast charging or not. anyone know what i should look for on graphenos? i know it's a fast charger i went to battery but nothing there shows it's fast charging and on the lock screen it just says "done charging by" then the time Thanks

AngWay for me a fast charger displays in one of the two following ways;
On the lock screen; at the bottom, it says, 'Charging Rapidly'
In Settings under Battery; it says, 'Charging Rapidly'

NON FAST CHARGERS say the following;
Lock screen; 'Charging'
Battery under Settings; 'Charging'

Might also require a cable that can handle the fast charging.

Many fast chargers have 2 or 3 USB ports and they're different speeds. The amazon listing might display this info in the pictures.

Make sure the cable is pressed in fully, both ends

nandohyphen1 Well mine is only saying "done charging by then the time" it thats all it says. and in the battery settings it doesn't show anything .

Johnnyloans Well i'm using the cable that came with the fast charger. but i installed the app Ampere and when i switch the chargers in and out it does say fast charging and the amps it's pulling says 16 watts. but why doesn't the phone it'self show weather i am fast charging or not it's odd cause stock android always showed if you are fast charging.

Johnnyloans Any cable that is USB-C to USB-C will be at minimum 60W.
Also using PPS charging should reduce heat generated in the phone.

Id add that if you wanna PPS charge you obviously need a charger, cable and phone that supports it. To find a cable capable off PPS charging it needs a e-marker chip. Any USB-C cable at or over 100W will have an e-marker chip, otherwise just look to see if they mention a e-marker chip.

I just tested my phone.

It'll say rapidly charging for 1 second after plugging it in and then change to done in 30 minutes.

Every place where it says "done in x minutes" is where it'd also say the speed when you first plug in.
At the Lock screen & settings > battery

I think youre right, the previous behavior was to display "rapidly charging" the entire time.

Johnnyloans Ohhh ok now i see it thanks man i can't believe i overlooked that i feel so stupid now lol... but yeah mine is showing "Fast charging" and then on the lock screen it says "charging rapidly" Yours says cahrging rapidly on the battery part.

Happens to us all, I'm stupid most of the time.

Weird yours says fast and rapid. The phone will change charging speed based on being close to 0 or 100% or battery temp.

Pixel 9 and newer added stricter requirements for rapid and raised the wattage bar.

My opinion, I'm wary of the rapid chargers. On a rapid charger, I unplug the phone partway through to let it cool down haha but I'm probably weird.

Johnnyloans Yeah i bought the fast charger just for the times i really need to get a fast charge but at night i use a regular slow charger to charge the phone.

i have a wireless charger that i use but i notice whenever i use it the phone is really warm in the mornings but if i charge it using the cable at night it's not warm at all the next morning. I read that anytime u use a wireless charger it natural for the phone to be alittle warm after charging.

Heat is one of the big ones when it comes to increase wear on your battery (though not the only one). If one of your options is notably causing higher temperatures, consider avoiding it.
