SetAsr It depends on your threat model.
If someone steals your phone on the street, they're unlikely to also steal your fingerprints.
If your spouse / child uses your finger while you're asleep, you almost certainly won't notice.
If the cops / thugs / whoever threatens you, then you'll probably unlock it regardless of biometrics or PIN complexity.
If your fingerprint leaks and someone 3D prints it with a gummybear - well, you can't easily change your fingerprint.
Biometrics are a good convenience feature and provide moderately good security against a wide range of likely threats. But they aren't a universal solution to every threat.
