Can't send text messages "error 10"

As the title states I can't send text messages with my graphene os pixel 9 phone.
Calling works, mobile data works, only text messages aren't working.
I get the error message: Can't send message with <carrier>, error 10.
I tried restarting and resetting network settings, but no luck.
Couldn't find anything online about error 10.
Is there anyone who can solve this problem with me?

varues are you using the Stock SMS app? Are you previously an iPhone user? If so, did you deregister iMessage? The instructions are on Apple's website. Do a search for Deregister iMessage

nandohyphen1 I am using the stock SMS app and not an iphone user. Bought a new phone number with a new phone at the same time.

varues I wonder if its an issue with your carrier then? Two other things to try would be to test a different SMS app, and test the SIM card in a non GrapheneOS phone

nandohyphen1 it is fixed. Had the same issues in another phone. Contacted my carrier, they did a remote reset of some kind. After that everything worked. Thank you for helping me, have a great day!
