Almost all modern earbuds will do what you need. The system battery indicator for TWS is not precise, so you'd have to look for brands that offer companion apps to show the battery levels. I guess Soundcore, CMF/Nothing, Huawei, Sennheiser, Bose, Google etc. will fit your demands.
You can even one up the Airpods by looking for real buttons (non touch/squeeze), stemless designs, customizable controls, best price/performance or repairability. And since you mention the microphone, check some mic tests on YouTube before committing to one device.
That's the good thing: When you're looking outside of the Apple eco system, you're not bound to specific designs/functions and can choose what fits you best.
